About Our Pastor
Andrew Butner is the pastor of New Home Baptist Church in Vass, NC. He is a native of Moore County. He and his family attended New Home Baptist Church from 2000 to 2008. Pastor Andrew accepted Christ as Savior on August 13, 2015. In March of 2018, he surrendered to full-time ministry.
Pastor Andrew received a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries from Pensacola Christian College in 2022. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Divinity in Biblical Counseling from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.
The heartbeat of Pastor Andrew is expository, spirit-filled preaching, discipleship, counseling, and outreach. Also, his heart’s desire is to foster a welcoming spirit and to provide ministry opportunities for all ages at NHBC.
Pastor Andrew met his wife, Brianna, at Living Water Christian Camp, where they served as Camp Counselors the summer of 2018 and 2019. After graduating college together at PCC, they got married in September of 2022. Bri, who is also a native of Moore County, is a registered nurse and church pianist who seeks to glorify God through the talents He has given her.
