We provide a nursery for children ages 3 and under. The children are cared for by ladies (dedicated believers and who have passed a background check) who teach them lessons from God’s Word.
We provide Children’s Church for ages 4 through 12. Children’s Church consists of a time of worship, crafts, and, especially, a lesson from God’s Word. Each Children’s Church leader is a dedicated believer that has passed a background check.
Our Music Ministry offers many places to serve. There is room on the platform for many more instrumentalists, praise team singers, and soloists.
Paul told Timothy in 1 Timothy 2:8, “I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” In Ephesians 5:23, men are called to be the head of their household. Such responsibility is impossible without prayer. This ministry calls men to participate in what God has called them to do: pray. This is a monthly ministry that takes places on Sunday morning and is joined with a breakfast.
Our ladies meet monthly on the third Tuesday of the month. This time is dedicated to fun, fellowship, food, prayer, and Bible study. Usually, they meet in the church fellowship hall, but they also meet at places within the community.
Paul told Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:12, “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” Thus, NHBC strives to reach the next generation for Christ. Our youth ministry is starting in August, and the bimonthly meeting will be on Thursdays at 7pm.
Our young adults meet once a month. This is usually in a members household, where they eat, hangout, and study the Bible. Frequently, they also have outings in the community. Children, of course, are welcome!
